We often have musicians on site, playing for there own amusement, but sometimes they get together and raise funds for Foxton.
In just one afternoon these two helped to raise £100, and they were only practising!

Some jobs are a bit specialist, that’s when we call in the Waterway Recovery Group. They are all volunteers but they have done all of the training as so they are professionals.
Just one of the unskilled workers put there time in for free. This lady works in an office all day and comes to Foxton for some genteel exercise, and good company.

Some volunteers are just plain wicked, at Halloween they dressed up to add some fun for our younger visitors and raise some cash.
We do have some fun, for our 1940’s festival we all dressed up and ran an event to celebrate the end of the Second World War. This was supposed by the lottery so most of it was free to the public.
